We had ten attendees, so, the meeting was compact but filled with friendly mood, even on zoom. Minutes ＃263　Minutes 2021/4/17 It was a rainy day. R.B who is a member from India didn’t carry her umbrella. But she said. She doesn’t care about the weather forecast even if it would rain. Minutes After the state of emergency was eased, today, we returned to hybrid style, at Nakahara Shiminkan and zoom. So some members could reunited onsite. First, we had an ice breaking session, discussing about an idea of the shift of the beginning of academic year from April to September, which is the issue that is discussed its pros and cons around this season every year. Minutes Today, though we had an earthquake immediate after the start of the meeting, our meeting was finished safely. We had two guests, one was from Myanmar and the other was Japanese who declared to join our club at the end of the meeting. Spring wind brought new member. Wow! Minutes Though smaller number of attendees than usual, we, Visionaries had an enjoyable meeting with a warm atmosphere in zoom. During the relaxed ice breaking session, we discussed about the theme ‘Can you accept eating insect?’ We could have a unique conversation about a food shortage in the future. Table Topics Master S.K. asked six questions about recent issues, gender equality, anti-COVID vaccination, SNS, earthquake, etc. Thanks to all answers by speakers, we could reconsider about such controversial problems. Minutes According to the calendar, tonight meeting was the first meeting in 2021 spring after “Setsubun; the day of the close of winter” in Japan, though, weather is still chilly in Kawasaki area. However visionaries’ meeting on zoom was exciting! We welcomed two guests, including international one.   Today, the ice breaking session’s theme was about the women’s rate in office, on which we exchanged our opinions each other. Minutes Tonight was the first meeting in 2021! Although  we didn't have any guests, we enjoyed a cozy atmosphere. The Table Topics Session was presented by T.A. He  asked seven questions, which were seasonal and entertaining. Prepared speech session was started by M.U. She shared an idea of fortune telling saying that the new period of "air" has just started. Whether or not we believe in fortune telling, it is true that the world is changing. We have to be well prepared. Minutes Tonight was the last meeting in 2020. We had one international guest and enjoyed a warm atmosphere regardless of this rigorous year due to Covid-19, which was appropriate as a farewell to this year.   Today’s ice breaking session was presented by the President S.S.  Topic was ‘What kind of present did you want when you were a child?’, which was asked to all attendees.  This heartwarming topic reminded all of us of happy time in our childhood. Minutes Today, we had one international guest! It is a great opportunity for us to invite a guest from overseas and have a feedback or a comment.   M.S asked some seasonal questions in the Table Topics Session. Questions like "Do you think the Olympic games will be held in 2021?" made us reorganise our way of opinion.   In the prepared speech session, we had four speakers. M.S made a speech about Beethoven. Minutes Today, we had two international guests again! Current tough situation of the COVID-19 has provided us a lot of chance to communicate with the international Toastmasters. Why don't we utilise it?   Y.T facilitated the Table Topics Session creatively. He asked a member to choose three numbers and gave them three words linked to them. The assigned member had to make a speech using those three words.
