What is contest speech? Hello everyone, this is Y.T, President of Visionaries TMC. February 16th is the Area Contest. The Area Contest is a contest which around 5 clubs compete with each other on speeches. The winner can have a chance to participate in the International Contest. Minutes I'm sorry for my late update... Last weeks' meeting were full of guests, we got 4 guests! I hope we welcomed the guests with warm and friendly atmosphere. Who runs a club? The main place of Toastmasters activities is each club. There are 16,800 clubs in total around the world and about 200 clubs in Japan. Then, who runs the clubs? COT and TLI 2020 Hello everyone, this is Y.T, President of Visionaries TMC. Yesterday, 19th Jan, I attended COT and TLI in Odaiba. COT stands for Club Officers Training. It is an annual event where club officers gather and discuss varieties of issues. Usually it is held by each Division, but this time, it was held with several Divisions together.
